SEI-TAG composites are multi-layer product combinations in thicknesses starting at 100g/sqm to the point of 400g/sqm for the production of final products that are used in the various industrial sectors of steel, fashion, chemicals, wood, construction, logistics and automotive.

As paper-film composites, papers with different product characteristics (coated, non-coated) are laminated against a film core with different properties (biaxially oriented polypropylene films – BOPP, polyester films – PET, aluminum foils) for these applications.

Depending on the requirements of the end product, pure film or pure paper combinations are also possible.

The use of paper and film combines the advantages of paper in terms of printability using standard printing methods, the possibility of customised lettering afterwards with the advantages of the product features of film among other things in terms of dimensional stability, thermal resistance and tear resistance.

The use of aluminium foils or polyester films with an aluminium coating also provides the end products with very high opacity and metal detectability.

Depending on the application and customer requirements following combinations are available in rolls or sheets:

• Tear-resistant and tearable combinations
• Combinations for direct thermal printing
• Combinations for thermal transfer printing
• Combinations with security aspects

for applications such as hanging and loop tags, tickets and travel passes, durable maps, luggage tags, mailing bags and much more.
